Bedford Surgical Center has many patients that have traveled from out of state and also from out of the country.  If you will be traveling from out of town and are  interested in scheduling surgery our office will make every effort to help assist you in your arrangements. We want your trip here with us to be as pleasant and stress-free as possible.  

The first step in scheduling would be emailing us for an online consultation in whichever procedure you are interested in.  In the email please send clear front and side view photos of the area/area’s you are interested in working on.  Make sure to list your height, weight and age; it is also important to mention if it’s a revision procedure and the date of your previous surgery.  We receive many emails daily so please allow three days for a response. If you have not received a response please call our office (310) 271-6996 and one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist you.   Our doctors  will inform you if you’re a good candidate for the procedure as well as give you a price quote.   If you have any further questions or if you’re ready to schedule surgery and have dates in mind please call our office.  

We request out of town patients to schedule and plan surgery a month ahead of time; a deposit of $500 will be taken to secure your date.  Our office will fax or email all necessary paperwork; all your lab and blood work will be done by your primary physician. Your history and physical, lab work, consent forms and balance should be received 2 weeks prior to your procedure.   You are required to stay in town for seven to fourteen days depending on your procedure.  You’ll meet with the doctor the day before and the day of your surgery.  It is required that you have a caregiver stay with you the first 24 hours after surgery and you will be unable to drive yourself for the first several days.  If you have any further questions at all please call our office.
